Waterfront Kayak Cancellation Policy

In accordance with our cancellation and refund policy, a 10% administrative fee will be charged for cancellations by the client made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled trip. If a kayak booking cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the trip, a fee of 50% will apply. Please note that tickets are strictly non-refundable if a client cancels less than 24 hours before the trip or fails to arrive, which also applies to tickets purchased within 24 hours of the trip time. Waterfront Kayak refunds are not available for late arrivals; customers are expected to arrive 20 minutes prior to the trip's departure.

Clients can submit rescheduling requests for their kayak booking cancellation up to 12 hours before the scheduled trip time. Such requests are subject to Waterfront Kayak's discretion. If a reschedule request is honored, please note that customers are limited to two requests per purchase. For late comers, we will attempt to accommodate them on another trip, but we cannot guarantee this. If a reschedule cannot be accommodated due to late arrival, the ticket is forfeited, in accordance with our cancellation and refund policy. Please refer to Waterfront Kayak refunds for further information.

Rain and cloud cover won’t impact the cancellation of a trip, but strong winds, large swell, and unsafe currents will.

If we cancel due to unsafe weather, our cancellation and refund policy states that a full refund will be issued, which may take around 7 working days to process. Customers also have the option to reschedule their trip. However, if a trip is rescheduled, the terms of the rescheduling policy will apply, and a refund cannot be obtained if they later cancel their rescheduled trip or fail to arrive for it.

Please note that Waterfront Kayak refunds are not available for vouchers in cash under any circumstances.

NOTE: Cape Town weather is highly unpredictable, and sea conditions may change unexpectedly, which could lead to cancellations right before or during the trip. Your safety remains our top priority.
