Daily Guided Sea Kayaking adventures with Dolphins from the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town

Once we launch from Granger Bay, Cape Town, you will encounter the stunning Atlantic seaboard coastline with Signal Hill and Lion's Head as the backdrop. As we paddle on our stable sea kayaks, keep a look out for any of the sea wildlife such as dolphins, seals, sunfish, penguins and whales. There'll be plenty of rest breaks to take in the surrounding beauty as well as time for photos. This is sea/ocean kayaking at it's best.

• The duration of our sea kayaking trips are 90 minutes, where you paddle for approximately 60 minutes.
• We operate every day of the year (weather dependent) with usually 2 trips a day.
• We offer a paddling experience where we don't paddle to a specific destination but rather tailor our trip based on the weather conditions (direction of wind & swell).

SAFETY FIRST!! The sea kayaking trip is weather dependent. Weather is assessed on the day as activity cannot be performed in dangerous or bad weather. Refer to the cancellation policy below.

Max 2 per kayak. Paddlers coming alone are welcome. You do not need a partner to kayak with us as you can either partner with a guide or use a single manned kayak.

All paddlers are welcome. We welcome sea kayaking for beginners.

• Beach casual and other Quick dry clothing such as tights and vests.
• Sunblock and a hat is recommended.
• Clothes may get wet, so a change of clothes is recommended. 
• Barefoot is best. Sandals, water shoes, old trainers are all acceptable.
• Bring a jacket / windbreaker or warm top.  (for colder weather)

• Bring a bottle of water, a towel and sunblock.
• Water temp varies from 10°C to 16°C
• Lifejackets are provided.
• If you are prone to motion sickness - we recommend you take motion sickness tablets before the trip.
• Signing of indemnity is mandatory.

Minimum age is 8 years old. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and a legal guardian to sign an indemnity.

Max weight per passenger is 110kg  

• Cancellation by client within 48 hours 50% fee charged.
• Cancellation by client within 24 hours or no-show full fee charged.
• Cancellation by client prior 48 hours 10% admin fee charged.

Rain and cloud cover won’t affect cancellation but strong winds, large swell and dangerous current will.

If we cancel your sea kayaking trip because of unsafe weather a full refund will be given, it will take -/+ 7 working days to complete. 

NOTE: Cape Town weather is highly unpredictable and sea conditions may change unexpectedly causing us to cancel right before or during sea kayaking trips. Your safety is our priority.
